territory of the spire;

● wip. a strange, ethereal, purple, pink & blue crystal-filled cavern on another plane of reality, connected to regular reality via the soft lichen-studded, crystal-studded rocky spiral staircase embedded within the mountain's peak.
● the bottom area of the entrance to the spire, on the mountain, is littered with clean cat bones.
● the entire realm of the spire is centralized around the mountain peak, connected to the keeper's chamber by a large pink crystal point; the space is warped, however, so it doesn't Appear to be the exact central point of the camp

notable places;

◌ the keeper's chamber -- the cave/den where spire watcher lives. decorated with pink and purple crystals and glowing lichen with a giant pink crystal in the center coming up from the floor. said to be connected to the mountain's very peak, and the point of origin for the spire's camp.

◌ seekers' den -- a generalized den filled with soft glowing green lichen and not much else. usually, only cats who haven't yet earned a role but aren't learners sleep here. the entrance is located to the immediate right of the entrance to camp.

◌ learners' den -- a small cavern/den located to the left of the entrance to camp, filled with all sorts of glowing mushrooms, lichen, and moss. learners sleep here.

◌ soul-menders' den -- a cavern filled with crystals and rocky ledges used to store medicinal herbs and other things used for healing cats. soul-menders live within it, and sick cats can be found sleeping inside it.

◌ (role) seekers den -- individualized dens per seeker role more commonly abbreviated to seekers den between clanmates of the same role etc

one cat, upon being rejected by starclan for their unique gifts & deemed a threat to the clans, would retreat to the top of a mountain who's lower cliffs were already stained with the blood of lost clans & use their powers to shape a reality, a plane all their own - the formation of the clan known as the spire.

the spire only accepts into its ranks cats "blessed" with extremely powerful, otherworldly powers - those who hold the powers of the stars in their paws. they look down upon the 'talentless' with amusement or disdain, and hold themselves above even starclan - the seekers of the spire possess talents greater than even those of the dead, after all.

to become a seeker, one must be 'reborn' upon the mountain peak - a process that kills a cat, technically, yet in their spirit being quickly ushered within the spire's reality, they're resurrected in an... interesting state. technically no worse for the wear & easily able to visit the mortal realm with no problems (partially due to something lingering in the mortal reality allowing them to easily traverse it as if nothing changed), the seekers of the spire can never pass on to starclan if they're killed again on the mortal plane. normally, a seeker will simply be cycled back to the cavern of rebirth - memoryless, but otherwise fine. rarely, if they are able to escape the spire's magical bindings, they're simply sent to the place of no stars with however many memories they've managed to retain. it's a harsh life, but those who live within the spire look so heavily down upon starclan that only recently-joined seekers are spooked by this prospect.

seekers, especially spire watcher, often will 'gift' cats they find amusing, entertaining, or pitiful in mortal reality their 'blessings' - the source of the express's often feared fire-walkers, tragically. cats that receive the spire's blessings are often really cursed by these powers, and either end up in exile from their clans, find their way to the spire, or tragedy occurs - either a turn to villainy or madness, or a tragic loss. none of this really matters to the cats of the spire, who simply enjoy proving to starclan & their ancestors how much more powerful they've become; it's all just a game to them.

cats of the spire do not needta eat, at all. they also don't age normally; moons are used for their age upon being "reborn" as a seeker, & henceforth their life is measured in 'cycles' - times they've been killed & returned to the cavern of rebirth. despite this, most seekers still keep track of their total moons, although it might take almost triple the amount of moons it would take a normal warrior for them to age - a seeker of 20 moons would need to reach 50 moons to be the equivalent of 30 moons normally.

cats are named in the spire according to ancient cat names (jay's wing, wind runner, etc) & relate to whatever their mentor (or, rarely, guardian) determines fits them. learners are given the first half/prefix of their name & paws as a second half/suffix, with a proper one being granted by spire watcher upon their seeker's ceremony.

kits get the suffix soul, on the rare occasion they're born into the spire or manage to find their way there.

the leader is named spire [x]; the first, & current, leader's name is spire watcher.
